Namibian Rose Marble

Namibian Rose, also well known as Pink Namibia marble, is a pink marble from Namibia. It’s a stone that has a white crystal background with pink & rosy stripes and textures.

Similar to onyx stone, this stone can be backlit, but its hardness is much better than onyx. So it has become a new trend for architects and designers.

With its great hardness and unique style, Namibian Rose is ideal for wall & floor tile, countertop, vanity, background panel, table, mosaic, etc.

Namibian Rose Slabs for Wholesaler

There are two types: one is the normal, with various shades of cream and pink veins running diagonally throughout. The other has small rosy blocks spread randomly on the surface.

For wholesale, we have 5000+sqm 1.8cm nice glassy polished or honed surface slabs in stock for your selection.

Besides, there are more than 3000 tons of blocks in the storage yard, waiting to be cut to meet your continuous needs.

FAQ

faq stone
How will the rosy bands in Namibian Rose appear when backlit?
The selected material features a white crystalline field with rosy pink bands and clouds. Test pink movement and white crystalline areas together. An illuminated white corner does not establish the colour balance of the complete rose-patterned panel.
What should a finish sample show in the rosy bands and white crystals?
Include both the crystalline areas and their surrounding mineral material. View the dry face under side lighting and compare the finished edge. Any resin-filled areas should be visible in the approval sample; a glossy photograph can conceal differences that become apparent on a matte surface.
What should be checked when an opening crosses the rosy bands and white crystals?
Review the actual crystalline zones, mineral boundaries and any repairs before finalising the opening. Their decorative appearance does not establish structural soundness. The fabricator should confirm the edge finish and support of the remaining sections; the clearest-looking area is not automatically the best place for a narrow rail.
Can the rosy bands and white crystals be positioned deliberately in custom pieces?
We can prepare a layout using the selected slabs and project drawings. Mark which areas should remain visible and include all openings and returns. More selective positioning may reduce usable yield, so approve the proposed composition before committing to a particular slab allocation.
What changes should I expect if Namibian Rose is used on a kitchen or bar top?
Acidic spills can leave dull etch marks on the identified carbonate surface, including areas around the rosy bands and white crystals. The markings do not need to disappear for a change in sheen to become visible. Choose this marble or limestone when that maintenance expectation is acceptable; ordinary penetrating sealing does not prevent acid etching.
