Black magma granite is an extra-lux granite from Brazil, with a black background and big golden and white veins running through the stone.

There are 4 types of black magma granite.

black background with dragon design veins and fire phoenix design;
black background with straight big golden and white veins;
black background with thin golden and white veins;
black background with more white veins;

Where to use?

1. Most were used as countertops in the kitchen. Black magma is very popular for kitchen countertops and vanity tops.

2. Background, polished in a pair of pieces to make the book match.

3. Column: the golden veins wound around the columns, like a dragon coiled above.

4. It can also be used on the wall, floor, and stairs.

Should Black Magma Granite have sweeping or more directional golden movement?

The selected material features a dark ground with large golden and pale flowing bands. Choose the intended expression before matching slabs. Combining a broad curved sweep with straight bands may create an unintended change at the island return.

Will a matte finish keep the same contrast in the large golden and pale bands?

Not necessarily. Compare the actual stone in the proposed sheen before approving colour: a dark polished field may read lighter when honed, changing the contrast of its markings. Handle and wipe the sample under the room lighting so surface residue is assessed as well as the initial appearance.

Will Black Magma Granite hide oil and water marks on a working countertop?

Do not assume a dark background conceals them. Assess stain protection on the actual stone, including areas around the large golden and pale bands, and inspect the chosen finish after handling and wiping. Surface residue and absorbed staining are different issues and should not receive the same treatment by default.
