Rosso Luana Marble

Origin from Italy, Rosso Luana Marble is a very good stone material. Compared with other fragile marbles, it is hard and without crack lines usually, and for the few with crack lines, its backside will be glued with mesh, which can be used for flooring, and can not use for kitchen countertops (benchtops). This stone is popularly used for many places, such as flooring, wall cladding, kitchen countertops (benchtops), bathroom vanity tops, etc.

Rosso Luana Marble has another name, Cipollino Ondulato marble. Its main color is purple, and there is also some cream spreading on the surface, different slabs, and the ratio of the colors is different. Its veins are like a river flowing. Our slabs are all in book match polished, so it is very stunning for wall decoration and flooring.

Can the red-purple bands of Rosso Luana Marble continue across adjacent panels?

The selected material features red-purple, pale and darker areas arranged in flowing bands. Select the broad colour movement first. Matching a few small pale veins will not correct a major shift in red-purple coverage between panels.

How does the finish change the appearance of the red-purple flowing bands?

Use two samples from the same visual selection to compare the proposed finishes. A polished face and a lower-gloss face can present colour and mineral contrast differently. Approve the face and edge together, particularly where a contrasting vein or filled area crosses the finished detail.

What changes should I expect if Rosso Luana Marble is used on a kitchen or bar top?

Acidic spills can leave dull etch marks on the identified carbonate surface, including areas around the red-purple flowing bands. The markings do not need to disappear for a change in sheen to become visible. Choose this marble or limestone when that maintenance expectation is acceptable; ordinary penetrating sealing does not prevent acid etching.
