Polished Polaris Marble Slab origin from Yugoslavia. It has white color background with light grey veins spead on the surface. Inventory slabs are 1.4-1.5cm and 1.8cm thickness. Because this marble quality is very good, it can be used for countertops and vanity tops. Polished Polaris Marble Slab is very nice for wall and floor decoration. For other thickness like 2cm, 3cm, they are also available, we can cut at your request.

Is Polaris Marble the same material as Polaris Gold quartzite?

The selected material features a pale white-grey dolomitic marble selection. Keep the pale dolomitic marble identity separate. A shared Polaris word does not establish the same golden movement, geology or care requirements.

Would polishing or honing better preserve the pale white-grey dolomitic surface?

Compare both on the selected white or pale material. Polishing adds reflection; honing gives a lower-gloss presentation that may change the apparent contrast of fine markings. Approve a dry face-and-edge sample so the chosen finish works on the detailed piece, not only on a large display slab.

Can the pale white-grey dolomitic surface be positioned deliberately in custom pieces?

We can prepare a layout using the selected slabs and project drawings. Mark which areas should remain visible and include all openings and returns. More selective positioning may reduce usable yield, so approve the proposed composition before committing to a particular slab allocation.

Could the bedding change the pale areas around the pale white-grey dolomitic surface?

Pale stone can reveal an unsuitable bedding colour or uneven installation moisture. Have the installer trial a non-staining system with the actual slab and any backing. Approve the dried result, including a joint; a sealer does not conceal poor bedding or replace the wet-area waterproofing design.

What changes should I expect if Polaris Marble is used on a kitchen or bar top?

Acidic spills can leave dull etch marks on the identified carbonate surface, including areas around the pale white-grey dolomitic surface. The markings do not need to disappear for a change in sheen to become visible. Choose this marble or limestone when that maintenance expectation is acceptable; ordinary penetrating sealing does not prevent acid etching.
