Can the green crystalline areas of Da Vinci Quartzite be backlit?

The selected material features green and darker green areas mixed with pale crystalline zones. Test both pale and dark green sections at the proposed thickness. Visible crystalline texture alone does not guarantee useful light transmission through the finished assembly.

What should a finish sample show in the green and pale crystalline zones?

Include both the crystalline areas and their surrounding mineral material. View the dry face under side lighting and compare the finished edge. Any resin-filled areas should be visible in the approval sample; a glossy photograph can conceal differences that become apparent on a matte surface.

What should be checked when an opening crosses the green and pale crystalline zones?

Review the actual crystalline zones, mineral boundaries and any repairs before finalising the opening. Their decorative appearance does not establish structural soundness. The fabricator should confirm the edge finish and support of the remaining sections; the clearest-looking area is not automatically the best place for a narrow rail.

Can the green and pale crystalline zones be positioned deliberately in custom pieces?

We can prepare a layout using the selected slabs and project drawings. Mark which areas should remain visible and include all openings and returns. More selective positioning may reduce usable yield, so approve the proposed composition before committing to a particular slab allocation.

Does the crystalline appearance make Da Vinci Quartzite a maintenance-free countertop?

No. The green and pale crystalline zones should be assessed together with less clear mineral zones and any treatment. Confirm the supplied stone's identity and liquid uptake before choosing stain protection. Visible crystal alone is not evidence of uniform porosity, unlimited heat resistance or the soundness of narrow cut pieces.
