Why does honed Black Limestone look lighter than a polished photograph?

The selected material features a dark limestone field that can appear lighter in a matte or textured finish. Specify colour using the intended finish. A dark polished reference should not be treated as an exact standard for a matte or textured limestone surface.

Can the dark limestone field be positioned deliberately in custom pieces?

We can prepare a layout using the selected slabs and project drawings. Mark which areas should remain visible and include all openings and returns. More selective positioning may reduce usable yield, so approve the proposed composition before committing to a particular slab allocation.

What changes should I expect if Black Limestone is used on a kitchen or bar top?

Acidic spills can leave dull etch marks on the identified carbonate surface, including areas around the dark limestone field. The markings do not need to disappear for a change in sheen to become visible. Choose this marble or limestone when that maintenance expectation is acceptable; ordinary penetrating sealing does not prevent acid etching.
