This travertine has two grey background colors, one is a little darker, another is light, but for machine cut surface, the colors are almost same, and there are some veins spread on the surface, some are straight, some are crossed. Normally, the surface is polished, but other surfaces are also availale, such as brushed, honed, and tumbled, especially brushed and tumbled surfaces are very popular in Australia. Inventory slabs are 1.8cm thickness. We can cut to size for you. Beige Travertine Tiles is very nice for flooring, wall cladding, etc. For other thickness like 2cm, 3cm, etc, they are also available, we can cut at your request.

Will Beige Travertine Tiles always have a warm beige colour?

The selected material features a beige-travertine trade selection whose exact grey or warm undertone needs sample approval. Approve the actual batch, including any greyer undertone and its finished surface. The beige product label is not a sufficiently precise colour standard.

How should pore filling relate to the approved travertine colour range?

Approve the filled sample against both the lighter and darker layers. Specify whether filling should blend with the background or remain visibly contrasting. The finished surface needs inspection for open or inadequately filled areas; the word filled does not describe a colour standard or eliminate all maintenance.

Can vein-cut and cross-cut pieces of this selection be mixed?

Only as an intentional design choice. Cutting across the natural layers can produce a different visual presentation from exposing them lengthwise. Approve actual samples and the layout before mixing cuts; turning a finished tile does not recreate a different original block-cut direction.

What happens where an edge exposes pores within the approved travertine colour range?

Inspect the exposed voids and agree whether they are filled, left visible or excluded from a narrow detail. Approve the edge treatment separately from the slab face. A smooth filled top does not establish that every subsequently cut edge will have the same appearance.

Does a honed finish make Beige Travertine Tiles ready for a wet floor?

Not by itself. Check the actual finished surface and pore treatment for the intended use, including suitable slip assessment and installation design. The layered carbonate stone also needs compatible maintenance; honing or filling does not remove acid sensitivity.
