Concordia Marble

Concordia marble is a natural luxury marble, sourced from Turkey. It is a very popular marble, well known as Invisible Grey Marble.

The freely extending texture blends well with nature, like a plum in a pure white and clean snow scene; it is quiet, transparent, and beautiful.

Difference between Concordia Marble from other marble?

1. Hardness
Like marble, its hardness is comparable to that of granite and quartz, reaching a Mohs hardness of 7.
This gives it both the appearance characteristics of marble and the strength of granite and quartz, which can be widely used in construction also public areas.

2. Water absorption
It has low water absorption, soft anti-fouling, not easy to hide dirt, and is easier to take care of.
Good for kitchens and baths, like kitchen countertops, islands, vanity tops, walls, and floors.

3.Durable
Its compact structure and high hardness make it very durable and not easily scratched.

4.Usage
Except kitchen and bathrooms, it is also popular for lobbies, living rooms, offices, backgrounds, stairs, carvings, columns, and so on.

How do I identify the intended Concordia Marble selection?

The selected material features a soft white field with branching grey veins and occasional golden accents. Use the branching grey pattern and the amount of gold as visual references, while confirming the supplied material separately. Similar white backgrounds are not enough.

Would polishing or honing better preserve the branching grey-gold veins?

Compare both on the selected white or pale material. Polishing adds reflection; honing gives a lower-gloss presentation that may change the apparent contrast of fine markings. Approve a dry face-and-edge sample so the chosen finish works on the detailed piece, not only on a large display slab.

Would a mirror layout or a continuous arrangement suit the branching grey-gold veins?

Compare both using images of the actual slabs and the finished-piece outlines. Mirroring may amplify a central shape; a continuous arrangement may distribute the movement more freely. Include openings and narrow returns before choosing the pair, because the most attractive full-slab image may not fit the intended composition.

Could the bedding change the pale areas around the branching grey-gold veins?

Pale stone can reveal an unsuitable bedding colour or uneven installation moisture. Have the installer trial a non-staining system with the actual slab and any backing. Approve the dried result, including a joint; a sealer does not conceal poor bedding or replace the wet-area waterproofing design.

What changes should I expect if Concordia Marble is used on a kitchen or bar top?

Acidic spills can leave dull etch marks on the identified carbonate surface, including areas around the branching grey-gold veins. The markings do not need to disappear for a change in sheen to become visible. Choose this marble or limestone when that maintenance expectation is acceptable; ordinary penetrating sealing does not prevent acid etching.
