G681 Granite, shrimp Red Granite, is a natural granite from China, known worldwide.
It is a light pink granite, with a uniform grain. The surface and color are uniform, good for the big area used.

There are two quarries popular in Fujian Province, China. Xiaoguangshan G681 and Zhangpu G681. The oldest quarry is Shijing G681, the pinkest and most elegant, which still has blocks, but the quantity is small.

1.Xiaoguangshan G681,
a.The mining of this mine is permitted by the government, and the supply of materials is stable.
b.The color of this material will be a little lighter than others and has less chromatic aberration from different quarries.

2. Zhangpu G681,
a.This mine may be stopped by the government, but there are large quantities of blocks in stock. The supply is not a problem.
b.The color of this quarry will be more pink, its color from different quarry have more varied. The most pink one is from Renshou Quarry.

Can G681 from different suppliers be combined in one order of G681 Granite?

The selected material features a fairly even pink granular pattern with contrasting lighter and darker minerals. Compare the pink background and grain pattern directly. Separate source selections need visual approval even when they share the same numerical trade code.

How does the finish change the appearance of the pink granular pattern?

Use two samples from the same visual selection to compare the proposed finishes. A polished face and a lower-gloss face can present colour and mineral contrast differently. Approve the face and edge together, particularly where a contrasting vein or filled area crosses the finished detail.

How should the pink granular pattern look on a finished edge?

Approve an edge sample from the selected lot rather than comparing only flat colour chips. Check for chips, missing grains and inconsistent polishing at mineral changes. The exposed edge should relate to the face, although a narrow edge naturally shows a smaller portion of the grain pattern.

How can the pink granular pattern be kept balanced across repeated pieces?

Review actual cut-size outlines or a dry layout of finished pieces, not just an average colour sample. Keep the size and concentration of the most conspicuous mineral areas within the agreed range. A visually acceptable slab can still yield pieces with quite different pattern coverage.

Does G681 Granite need stain protection around cooking and sink areas?

Base the decision on the selected slab's liquid uptake and any existing treatment, not solely on the pink granular pattern. A suitable impregnator may help where needed, but no blanket stain-proof result should be promised. Compare a treated offcut with the approved dry colour before applying it to the complete countertop.
