Porphyry Stone
Porphyry is a neutral, acidic, or alkaline igneous rock (which can be intrusive or extrusive) with a porphyry structure. They are usually scattered among finely crystalline minerals called the “matrix”. It is a general term for igneous rocks characterized by porphyritic structures, and is a name given to rocks by structural features. It is relatively strong and can be used as a building material. The phenocrysts are generally composed of alkaline feldspar or quartz, and the matrix is fine-grained or cryptocrystalline (vitreous).
We have 6 types of Porphyry Stone available; all of them are sourced from China.
3 types of Red Porphyry Stone
1# Red Porphyry Stone. It is the strongest of red porphyry and has the strongest frost resistance.
2# Red Porphyry Stone. It is the second choice if you need strong frost resistance. Its vein cut and cross cut are different.
3# Red Porphyry Stone, the best-priced one, but the frost resistance is not as good as 1# and 2#.
Brown Porphyry Stone & Green Porphyry Stone
These two have strong frost resistance, like 1# Red Porphyry. Very popular for Euro and Asia market, mix color or monochrome are welcome.
Grey Porphyry Stone
Different from other Porphyry Stone, it has white veins. Based on how it is used.
Different effects of different processing surfaces.
The structure of porphyry is close to that of granite, so their surface are similar. They can do Polished, Honed, Flamed, Brushed, Natrual Split, Bush Hammered, chiselled and so on.

What we can do for you?
Porphyry is a hard material, widely used in construction. Such as inside and outside walls and floors, countertops, stairs, and so on.
Below are different types we can do,
1. Half slabs; actually, some of the blocks can be cut into big slabs too. That means a big size is workable.
2. Cut to size, same as granite and marble; it can be cut to any size you want.
3. Mushroom stone, popular for exterior walls.
4. Ice crack finish, a special design for exterior floors.
5. Cube stone: natural split, polished, flamed, saw cut finish are available, and it can be composed of various shapes.
6. Curbstone.
