Perla Venata Quartzite

Perla Venata Quartzite is a luxury natural quartzite from Brazil. Well known as Taj Mahal quartzite too. Similar to a white crystal background with jade-green veins, warm as jade, elegant and noble. Some of them have a few gold veins.

Excellent light transmission; it is natural quartzite, but the background is similar to crystal. So it is popular for backgrounds and bar tops.
Very high hardness. Its Mohs hardness is as high as 8, which is higher than ordinary quartzite stone. That makes it very durable, with superior resistance to acid, and it cleans easily. It is good for kitchen tops, vanity tops, stairs, interior walls and floors, backyard floors, and so on.
It is the most popular natural quartzite, widely used in various buildings.

Can Taj Mahal be supplied instead of Perla Venata Quartzite without changing the look?

The selected material features pale cream-white crystalline tones with subtle greenish and golden movement. Compare the selected cream-white crystal, greenish hints and gold movement directly. A similar warm palette does not establish an identical visual selection.

What should a finish sample show in the golden-greenish crystalline movement?

Include both the crystalline areas and their surrounding mineral material. View the dry face under side lighting and compare the finished edge. Any resin-filled areas should be visible in the approval sample; a glossy photograph can conceal differences that become apparent on a matte surface.

What should be checked when an opening crosses the golden-greenish crystalline movement?

Review the actual crystalline zones, mineral boundaries and any repairs before finalising the opening. Their decorative appearance does not establish structural soundness. The fabricator should confirm the edge finish and support of the remaining sections; the clearest-looking area is not automatically the best place for a narrow rail.

Can the golden-greenish crystalline movement be positioned deliberately in custom pieces?

We can prepare a layout using the selected slabs and project drawings. Mark which areas should remain visible and include all openings and returns. More selective positioning may reduce usable yield, so approve the proposed composition before committing to a particular slab allocation.

Does the crystalline appearance make Perla Venata Quartzite a maintenance-free countertop?

No. The golden-greenish crystalline movement should be assessed together with less clear mineral zones and any treatment. Confirm the supplied stone's identity and liquid uptake before choosing stain protection. Visible crystal alone is not evidence of uniform porosity, unlimited heat resistance or the soundness of narrow cut pieces.
