Origins from India, Cotton White granite is a gorgeous white granite with some small black, brown, grey spots on the surface, it is very nice for flooring, wall decoration, kitchen countertops (benchtops), and bathroom vanity tops.

This stone looks like Bethel White granite, the difference is that it has more spots, so the color of it looks darker, compared with Bethel White, its price is better. This stone popularly used for large-scale installation, very suitable for commercial buildings, private house decoration. All-natural stones are porous, so waterproofing is necessary.

Will the brown specks in Cotton White Granite clash with a cool white kitchen?

The selected material features a white-grey ground with dark and brownish mineral specks. Check a sample containing those accents beside the cabinet door. A sample chosen only from the clean white-grey background understates their influence.

Would polishing or honing better preserve the brownish and dark specks?

Compare both on the selected white or pale material. Polishing adds reflection; honing gives a lower-gloss presentation that may change the apparent contrast of fine markings. Approve a dry face-and-edge sample so the chosen finish works on the detailed piece, not only on a large display slab.

How should the brownish and dark specks look on a finished edge?

Approve an edge sample from the selected lot rather than comparing only flat colour chips. Check for chips, missing grains and inconsistent polishing at mineral changes. The exposed edge should relate to the face, although a narrow edge naturally shows a smaller portion of the grain pattern.

How can the brownish and dark specks be kept balanced across repeated pieces?

Review actual cut-size outlines or a dry layout of finished pieces, not just an average colour sample. Keep the size and concentration of the most conspicuous mineral areas within the agreed range. A visually acceptable slab can still yield pieces with quite different pattern coverage.

Does Cotton White Granite need stain protection around cooking and sink areas?

Base the decision on the selected slab's liquid uptake and any existing treatment, not solely on the brownish and dark specks. A suitable impregnator may help where needed, but no blanket stain-proof result should be promised. Compare a treated offcut with the approved dry colour before applying it to the complete countertop.
