China Grey Marble is well known as china super white marble in China. It has a light gray color and a dark gray background with clear black veins and tiny red veins; they extend irregularly on the marble; whether they are natural or book-matched, they look good.

About the quarry

The China Grey Marble quarry is a full-fledged quarry, approved by the government, with a vast area, advanced quarry opening machinery, and a good sales system. It works very well and can meet the continuous requirements from the domestic and international markets.

The quarry is located in Guizhou Province, China. We were among the first to buy this block from it when it just started and are one of the biggest buyers, so we have a good advantage in it.

Are occasional reddish lines acceptable in China Grey Marble?

The selected material features light and darker grey areas with dark veins and occasional reddish lines. Include them explicitly in the appearance range if wanted. Colour variation should be assessed separately from open cracks or unstable repaired areas.

How does the finish change the appearance of the dark and reddish lines in grey?

Use two samples from the same visual selection to compare the proposed finishes. A polished face and a lower-gloss face can present colour and mineral contrast differently. Approve the face and edge together, particularly where a contrasting vein or filled area crosses the finished detail.

Can the dark and reddish lines in grey continue around a mitred corner?

We can develop a cutting layout that relates the top and return when the selected slab sequence allows it. Include the material removed by sawing and edge finishing in that review. Approve the actual junction before cutting; closely related bands do not guarantee a mathematically exact continuation.

What changes should I expect if China Grey Marble is used on a kitchen or bar top?

Acidic spills can leave dull etch marks on the identified carbonate surface, including areas around the dark and reddish lines in grey. The markings do not need to disappear for a change in sheen to become visible. Choose this marble or limestone when that maintenance expectation is acceptable; ordinary penetrating sealing does not prevent acid etching.
